SAT score calculator
Turn the number of questions you got right into an SAT or PSAT score and an estimated percentile.
For College Board's full-length SAT and PSAT practice tests 4–11 and 1–3, paper version (66 Reading and Writing, 54 Math questions).
For the digital, adaptive SAT (27 Reading and Writing and 22 Math questions per module).
How this works
A practice test uses the raw-score conversion table College Board prints for that exact test. Each section gets the range from the table, and the headline number is its midpoint.
Module counts is an estimate. The real digital SAT is adaptive and College Board doesn't publish how it scores it, so we average the official tables of eight practice tests. If you got the easier second module, that section is scored on a lower scale that tops out around 640 for Reading and Writing and 620 for Math, the ceilings students commonly report. Treat it as within about 40 points.
The percentile is College Board's published "User Group" percentile for that total score.
